The Bay Area Urban Debate Commission (BAUDC) seeks to hire an energetic, dedicated part-time staff member experienced in policy debate to help expand the impact of its programs for Bay Area youth. The position offers an opportunity to build skills and make a difference in education, community development, and non-profit administration.
The BAUDL is a nonprofit organization that uses the excitement of competitive academic debate to help young people build strong voices to succeed in college and in the world. The Regional Coordinator would play an essential role in the daily and long-term operations of the organization, joining a dynamic team including four other full-time staff, an army of committed volunteers and interns, and an engaged board. Specific tasks include: building strong relationships with students to improve retention, coordinating and assisting school recruitment, promoting BAUDL events, visiting campus at least twice a month per assigned school
